About The Beauty and Brains of Entertainment

The Beauty and Brains of Entertainment is an organization founded by Monique Lewis in 2012. After graduating College and starting my career in Entertainment, I’ve experienced first hand how hard it is to get your foot into the door of this industry and land a job making the money you deserve as a woman. I’ve also realized how it is every woman for them self and your success is based on who you know not necessarily what you know.

I created this organization because I want to change this issue for other females in the same position as me. As females we need to come together in this industry and mentor one another and be a helping hand for others trying to be successful within this industry as well.  There is space for all of us and if we come together we all can reach the level of success that we deserve.​

My mission for The Brains and Beauty of Entertainment is to bring together women in Entertainment to provide a support system for one another in this male dominated industry. We will strive to create better opportunities and build a stronger network of women in this industry to prove we are just as equal. We will be the go to support system for Women in Entertainment!
